It will be moyes isn't it? Free and available, knows the club and the PL...has done well during his spell here and has probably overdelivered based on the players available to him. Question for me is if he is still relevant today as a coach/manager...

There’s plenty of out of work managers who would be more appealing than the dire brand of football we’re being forced to watch at the moment. There’s some high quality out of work managers at the moment- Allegri, Conceicao, Terzic. I’d even take Moyes or Potter over what we’re witnessing at the moment.

We have no-one in currently to appoint a long term choice, however that is no excuse for us retaining this dolts services,he should have gone weeks ago,do the right thing, dismiss him before Wolves,if that means Tait and Baines in charge,so be it.
Surely though, TFG can say to Moshiri “bin this beaut and go for mr xxxx, we have tapped him up and he is fapping himself at the pay packet we have offered him. if we fall through we will pay any severance for him”

Conference league...yep...not sure if it's that good of a trophy to have on your CV, especially with the squad he had at West ham which was a very good squad.

Any trophy is good to have on your CV. Most clubs win nothing, likewise managers as there’s not actually that much for clubs to compete for. A European one, even if it is the conference league, is outstanding.

I'd also be happy with Moyes all things considered. He is a safer bet than Potter at this point though I believe Potter may emerge. He would stabilise things and there would be some hope at least.

A couple of signings in January with new manager and owners and at least it's something to cling to and things are happening at least then.

Potentially very grim weeks ahead though. We really need the takeover to go through this week.

If you offered me Moyes in tomorrow I'd do it right now just to get rid of Dyche. No chance in my mind we go down with Moyes

Yes it's extremely short term and uninspiring but we are hardly in position to be fussy
If the club/TFG couldn’t get their first choice then moyes should be a safe pair of hands. Only issue is he wouldn’t take a 6 month deal more likely 18 months. When does the cycle stop for us of getting short term fixes. I’m not saying no to moyes, but I feel that the club or new owners need to brave and go with their first choice. We haven’t got a clue who that is and it could go wrong like anything but we need to completely change our approach to who we want to manage the club.
Yes it’s vital we stay in the league this season, but it’s also just as vital that we have a chance for this club to be reborn in the summer. We will have New owners, new board, new manager, new players and a world class stadium. All of these doesn’t guarantee success, but it has to at least give us something to build on.

I would definitely take Moyes now until the end of the season. Or Potter - but he may not want to come in at a time of crisis. I know one thing - this can’t continue. Part of me feels sorry for Dyche who overall hasn’t done a bad job in extremely difficult circumstances. But this is beyond repair.

Sergio Conceicao has been heavily talked up recently.

Any idea why he left Porto in the summer having signed a contract to 2028 earlier this year?

If he is fluent in English then he could get a very good candidate.

My stance hasn't changed, we need to get rid of Dyche forthwith, and we need someone in to settle things, short-medium term. Because right now these players are fugged. It's broke. Dyche isn't getting anything further from them. There's only one direction right now and that's not some boy band group. I'm all for a
quality appointment but we're a broken club we need an instant fix and in the future after TFG have had some time to work on things, we can introduce a quality manager. For now we need some bounce. Someone who knows what it's all about at this club. Someone that is ready to step in to the breach. The club have to act before it becomes too late for this set of players.
