Yes I agree and honestly that seems to be a lot of what those who support his appointment want, and as you say it's not really him. He probably won't use the signings we would make in January. He's naturally very cautious. He's kind of the opposite of what you'd want for a short term caretaker.

This will sound controversial, but given that Dyche's teams tend to get better through a season, I'm really not sure you get much upside for swapping Moyes to Dyche for 6 months. I think the two periods would feel very similar.
I'm not a Moyes fan and wouldn't appoint him but this isn't much of an argument. Firstly when he was appointed as Everton manager we were in similar situation of fighting a relegation battle, secondly when he went to West Ham he was again in a similar situation and got them to safety, thirdly Dyche clearly isn't bothered about what is going on, his whole demeanour and approach this season shows this. Finally Moyes for all of his faults is streets ahead of Dyche as a manger. There are good arguments to not appoint Moyes but this isn't one of them.

Yeah I’d take Moyes ahead of Dyche any day but I don’t think appointing him would be a great idea unless it’s strictly until the end of the season and I can’t see him going for that. He missed his opportunity here. If he’d hung in there until Moshiri arrived things might have been different with him spending some cash.

He’s had to sell all his best players brought in over 200mil. What’s he supposed to do with no money and crap squad
Went the Dyche path at Burnley. Their squad is not really good, but as ours they shouldn‘t be as far down. Had a horrible starting program, but latest games against Ipswich and us, not at all

Mr X on 16%
Bring it on....
