They won't do anything unless they have to between now and the end of the season and I'd assume at this point if there any any plans for January they're on the basis that Dyche will be here.

It's a conundrum for them as the type of candidate available now and the sort that would be in the summer and tempted by a near clean-slate job in a new stadium, will likely be very different.

Results will dictate, of course. Interesting rumour about Silva. They say you shouldn't go back, and I think that generally holds true. I don't think you could draw parallels with Moyes returning, as the circumstances would be different.

It's just a question now of Dyche doing enough to maintain a reasonable level of distance between us and the drop zone. If at any point there is a losing streak and/or we get drawn in more than we are currently, then he will go whenever that point is reached. He has no future here but at this stage I do hope that TFGs hand is not forced.
If they want a certain manager they just go and get him or at least ask which ever club it is for permission to speak to him, They sack managers when needed, “we arnt run by a Wait and see what happens” owner anymore

He would have been 100 percent on the list, if he was a free agent. Doesn't speak English I believe tho. That's my only issue, but Emery did little when he came Arsenal for example. I always think that the language is essential in the daily work.

The fact that my list would look differently now with the takeover and the mangers available now shows how quick this business is just after 4 months.
What does free agent have to do with it? We will just pay to get him

The moment I made this list was 3 months ago, I thought of names that were realistic to get at this point as our season start was very frightening. It was still unsure who we get as owners, it was around Textor made the sky interview about the plans and also before Friedkin group hijacked, after their first try failed. I follow Lyon a bit and was worried about Textor tbf, luckily Friedkin took over.

Mancini, Galtier, Pioli. I do think they are good managers, but they earn/earned a lot of money in their oil country that was even much more than the generous 5m we pay Dyche. And for 5m we should find a good manager that will bring us forward.

Now, almost 3,5 months later I'd made a different list to include other names. Probably we can restart another thread with different names. We have a different situation now, and luckily it is that the majority of things is cleared.
