Ferguson (found his level)
Moyes wins 1 cup with West Ham in entire managerial career.

If they base it on that where is the Martinez option?

I can’t see it being anyone who’s never managed in the league, might have a language barrier and/or has never managed at a similar level before, particularly not as an in season move. Thankfully for Everton they appear to have done the tour of the Dinosaurs of British Football so you might get somebody who’s at least a little bit different

I understand the Moyes thing to a point .
He knows the club, we know him .
Another defensive style manager ( vastly superior to the current incumbent) so less difficulty in a transition of manager .
But …..Sunderland is evidence of how the wheels can come of for him , so no guarantee.
Personally I don’t like him or his style .
Would prefer we were braver.
I also think his return would be so dispiriting it might be the point I walk away from the club.

Knowing our luck, our AI manager will have studied the philosophy and match tactics of every Benitez, Allardayce & Dyche games only as its training model.

Davide Ancelloti - unproven but is learning his trade under the best of the best, knows the Club and can probably tap up his arl fella for a loan or two. But, unlikely, due to having never managed a club and our mindset seems to be one of settling for tried and tested has beens

To be fair an AI running the club would at least be logical and there’s no way it would sign Ashley Young, Alcaraz, Delph, pay £45m for Sigurdsson or sign 3 number 10’s in the same window

I worked for Arsenal hiring Arteta...Why not Davide.

Never go back to managers/players you've seen before, they are expected to live up to their past reputation and it never ends well.

Time has moved on for Bielsa, Potter etc.
it's more about the style of football that entertains and makes you want to watch.

Even Carsley with all the resources available and high intensity play had people throwing paper planes from the stands.

High intensity means high attrition which only works well with a capable strong squad.

Horses for courses, we'll have to play safe and stick with what we've got and Dyche until the ownership and ground move are sorted out whatever, anyways.

None of the ones listed for me yet.

It's not always the case it doesn't work out though is it. Ancelotti is doing great at real Madrid second time round. Some clubs are just a perfect fit with certain clubs and Moyes is that with us I believe
