Could someone just remind me of all those clubs that he has left in ruin?

I swear some blues are attached to our failure; you’d literally choose Thomas Frank or reappoint Marco Silva over a trophy magnet kopite hater like Mourinho.

Frank or Silva wouldn’t be long term options either. At best, they’d have us in mid-table, and they’d more likely be sacked long before their contract is due to end.

We need to raise the profile of the club but adding a world class manager with no assets will back-fire every time.

Jose won't leave Fenerbahce anytime soon unless sacked so in a year or more do you really want a 62/63 year old manager on HUGE wages with very little budget?

I wish we got Jose as part of the Moshiri Takeover from Day One because he wouldn't have put up with half of the rubbish that Walsh, Kenwright or Agents would have been pushing

10 Years ago when Moshiri came in would have been perfect.

But now, his style of football is outdated in the PL. He won't be winning us trophies any time soon.

He'll want a big budget to get the big name players that he wants, which he won't get.

And every time results don't go his way, he'll throw the owners under the bus.

Remember how he use to cryarse very week at Spuds when he lost a game? It was never his fault. It was always Levy's fault for being a cheap arse and not getting him the players that he wanted.

Frank or Silva wouldn't be on top of my list either, mate.

Mancini has just become available.
See? Now that's a name I could get down with as a stepping stone appointment, instead of 'The Special One'.

imagine Jose here during a press conference 🤣 no more rubbing the sweat off his brow, or his goaty, no more back on the grass hard yards, the feel, the nuts and bolts etc.

just a packed out presser, straight talking, getting us back to wining football matches 👍

Image Jose slagging off the fanbase when they boo a boring 0.0 at home to *insert newly promoted side.

Jan 2024 - Friedkin Group sack Jose Mourinho from Roma

June 2025 - Friedkin Group appoint Jose Mourinho to manage Everton FC.

Maybe just me but...not going to happen.

Only thing with Mancini is if he's still got the fire in his belly.

He's a paesano from Italy!

It shouldn't take a lot to get an Italiano's blood boiling. 😂

We said the same about Ancelotti before he joined us....
Granted, he didn't win anything with us, but he's killing it at Real at the moment!

I mean I’ve always liked him I also get that his star is probably going down rather than up but he’s failed to win a trophy at one club ONE , has a ridiculous win percentage and our most recent managers are lampard , FSW & dyche .

It doesn’t feel like he’d be a step down to me

….i’d imagine the new owner will look for a young, upcoming Manager/DoF combination.
Easier said than done Eggs, but finding a duo like that with perfect chemistry would be ideal.

However, after bearing witness to the complete mess that has been Moshiri's tenure as our owner, I have a lot more faith in the Friedkin brothers handling their business the proper way and getting it done right.
