Easier said than done Eggs, but finding a duo like that with perfect chemistry would be ideal.

However, after bearing witness to the complete mess that has been Moshiri's tenure as our owner, I have a lot more faith in the Friedkin brothers handling their business the proper way and getting it done right.
I highly doubt Kia Joorabchian will be involved this time which is a key factor.

…agree, Tommy, I think they’re the most difficult appointments to get right in the game.

Could someone just remind me of all those clubs that he has left in ruin?

I swear some blues are attached to our failure; you’d literally choose Thomas Frank or reappoint Marco Silva over a trophy magnet kopite hater like Mourinho.

Frank or Silva wouldn’t be long term options either. At best, they’d have us in mid-table, and they’d more likely be sacked long before their contract is due to end.

Mourinho hasn’t been a “trophy magnet” for over a decade at this point. He couldn’t win anything with Spurs so what makes you think he could win something here? Don’t know what him hating Liverpool has to do with anything either. It is far more likely he’d be sacked after 18 months than it is Thomas Frank would be.

Hopefully they clean shop at an executive level first.
If they start by making all the right appointments on the board, that’s half of the work done.
No more ‘Suntan Bob’s’ or ‘Kenwrongs’… Etc.
Brighton got their club structure right.
Building a solid foundation should be our first step, and the right appointments should follow.
I know… Easier said than done, right? 🤷

I mean spurs is the only club he’s not won a trophy at and he still had a better than 50% win rate . He won a trophy at Roma , their first in what 14/15 years and first European trophy .

Im not banging the drum for mourinho and i do think he’s on the way down not up but the idea he’s a completely spent force isn’t for me .

I'm still backing the West Brom manager. Seems a bit more Everton in style. I really like Thomas Frank, I think he is a great coach but I don't know how much of what he does at Brentford is solely him and how much of it is the whole data analyst-committee set up they have there... So if he came to Everton and no longer had access to that, would he be as effective?

Should just hire them as well

Mate I think it's a myth that we've got "a style" I don't we've ever had one,and if we have the near 40 years I've been watching have been lost on me😂

He won a cup with Roma a couple of years ago
