Very hard to call.

I do think its time though that we appointed in hope rather than fear.

That may mean higher risk but conversely this cycle that we're in needs to be broken.

I like Henrik Rydstrom. But would he be another Christian Gross?

I like Kasper Hjulmand too. But limited experience outside Mitjylland and failed at Mainz. International football does not translate.

Graham Potter still seems like a good bridge between higher risk and lower risk, and is more progressive than conservative.

It's all opinions. I'd still make Moyes favourite. That seems a much easier appointment to make if he's willing

I have voted for Graham Potter again.

He was hot property while he was at Brighton and I'm not put off by his inability to find a cohesive side at Chelsea. It's a thankless task there.

I get the argument that we don't have a squad that fits his style. But after next season we only have 12 senior players contracted to us. It's a perfect opportunity to rebuild and we don't want to waste that with having yet another short-term fix overseeing it.

In the short-term, I am confident he would be pragmatic enough to get us the results we need.

We had this last year and the thread is still more or less active, I am aware of this... Want to see the difference. Football is a quick business, so a new pull, with a good mix of candidates, a few have stayed, many have been added.

I left out some like Xavi, Allegri or Tuchel and included more realistic ones, also some like Gallardo, Still or Jagoba that recently changed clubs, also some that good work in smaller leagues over years, as well as some promising Championship managers like Robins, Cleverly, Edwards etc.

There is nobody to fire him, and nobody to hire any sort of a replacement.

Dyche is here until we have a new owner, and they have had a chance to settle in.
Then we can think about yet another knee jerk reaction like those that have crippled the club since Moyles left.

I'm not that clued up on managers but I would like someone young who plays direct and fast but can set up a team to be able to defend.

Couldn't be doing with anyone who sets a team up like Russell Martin did the other night.

Everton has the potential to be a big club again, I don't think Brentford has that.

We don't want any more young inexperienced managers, the job is too big for that.
We need experience in any of the four major leagues(England, Germany,Spain or Italy).
I would consider an older manager for a few years to get the club back on a solid footing.

I agree, but I don't think Frank would move to us under current ownership. Perhaps next summer though he could be enticed with a new club set-up, providing we stay up.

He did. I've got no real beef with him, just don't think that style would work at Everton.
