You missed Mason Rudolph's helmet being ripped off his head and subsequently bashed into his skull.

Never seen anything like that. I'm not sure what the punishment will be but it should be stiff. Crazy.

I'd like to think he won't play again this year but I've seen how suspensions work so I don't know that it'll go that way. I'm honestly stunned at what I just watched.

I'm trying to process how bad that could have been. I really feel like we could have witnessed some horrible things if that caught Rudolph more cleanly than it did. Again I've just never seen anything close to that.

I know NHL players have in the past faced criminal charges for acts outside of the normal game that amounted to assault and I've got to think that applies here as well.

Come on now this is the NFL we are talking about. People who assault other with knives and guns have had 3 game suspensions and some wife beaters got off in the past. The NFL will say Rudolph tried first to pull Garrets helmet off and he responded in self defense and they will then allow him play while they investigate further. Ignoring the video evidence and the white hat standing right there.

But yes sarcasm aside i agree that is a disgrace.

In the normal world video evidence of such an assault would be years behind bars. That it didn't connect 100% is amazing and 100% still convicting.

Certainly will be suspended for the rest of the season. Possible lifetime ban from the sport ?

Also what the hell was Pouncey trying to achieve swinging his fists at Garrets helmet. Adrenaline and heat of the moment aside but you've got to be aware that punching the back of someones helmet isn't going to do jack nothing.
