Absolutely. I’m not sure the NFL has had anything like this. It’s Kermit Washington/Rudy T levelIn the normal world video evidence of such an assault would be years behind bars. That it didn't connect 100% is amazing and 100% still convicting.

Stayed up until half bloody 4 and missed the most talked about thing in ages.My TD in every quarter bets gone in.
Be arsed watching the end of this.
You missed Mason Rudolph's helmet being ripped off his head and subsequently bashed into his skull.
I think it's called assault with intent your honor.
Didnt watch the game so only just got filled in on this, but Rudolph isn't innocent either. He tried to rip Garrett's helmet off immediately before and was allegedly punching nuts earlier in the game. Garrett's got to go bye-bye for at least a year, but I'd send them both away if I had Goodell's seat.
Look at this and you can clearly see Rudolph attempt this on Garrett, Garrett pause after ripping off the helmet then Rudolph comes at him again (then Garrett goes batsh*tcrazy) then you get Pouncey kicking Garrett in the head. I'd give Garrett 16 games, Rudolph at least 12, and Pouncey 4 or 6.
Rudolph 12 games? That's absurd, is not even definitive whether he was trying to rip his helmet off or it has been reported that his pinky was caught in the facemask.
I've heard no one report he was punching nuts earlier in the game, it looks like he may have attempted to kick Garrett in the groin while Garrett was ripping his helmet off. Even that is speculation.
Maybe he could get a game, or a fine, but 12 for Rudolph is insane.
Rudolph's poor execution as a QB is embarrasing enough, so he should be allowed play. That's punishment enough for steelers fans and us neutrals that on occasion watch him lolI don't have time for people like Rudolph. There's clearly no finger stuck in the facemark, he went down with his hands to the ground then put both around Garrett's helmet, almost as if he was trying to choke Garrett. The alleged nut punch happens after Garrett ripped Rudoph's helmet off*, when Rudolph charged Garrett (who wasn't engaged any longer) and allegedly swung at his nuts, prompting Garrett to swing the helmet.
Garrett lost his cool and endangered Rudolph, so his punishment is fitting, but Rudolph getting away with nothing is an embarrassment for the league and any teams that keep him rostered.
*I was wrong about the earlier, it was apparently earlier in the play. Such happens when you scroll twitter quickly to find out what happened in a boring, inconsequential game you didn't watch.
Load of fuss over nothing, barely even swung the helmet the bad bunch of fannies
You dont have to ban people for a year to say something is against the rules, it's hardly even a fightIt's attempted assault with a weapon. Even if you went to swing and miss doesn't mean you don't accidentally catch someone if they are moving towards the path, not realising that you are about to swing a helmet. You can have a bit of pushing and even fisticuffs but that was one step beyond. If you don't stamp on these things then your saying it's acceptable as you'll only get a x game ban.
