Say you get in a fight with your neighbor and you had a tool belt on. It's an even struggle just pushing and shoving, then the neighbor rips the hammer out your belt and attempts to hit you in the head with it and grazes you. It's the exact samething.

It's not provocation. You have no evidence of provocation.

I genuinely don't know what the cause of the Bears being terrible is. EVERYONE has regressed, not just the offense.
I watched most of the game last night.
Bears were lucky they were playing the Rams this week.
Starting to just run the ball again.

If they had run into a few sides that are bang in form right now they would have been absolutely battered.

They have been deserpate for a solid quarterback since the beginning of time. If they had anyone else apart from Rex Grossman when they made that Super Bowl appearance, I think they win that game. Since then it’s been Orton, Cutlet and now Trubisky. Can’t get much worse than that.

He's basically stopped that game from going over with his awfulness. FFS.

I don't particularly pay too much attention to stats as it doesn't tell you the complete picture, not always anyway. I focus mainly on situations and Rivers just cannot be called upon on a consistent basis. Like tonight, set aside the other 3 interceptions he threw, seconds to go and his team needed a leader against a division rival to step up to send the game to OT..........nope he bottled it again. Rivers just isn't a leader.

Now the team is 4-7 and probably out of the playoff race.

From the venerable wiki:

“In law, provocation is when a person is considered to have committed a criminal act partly because of a preceding set of events that might cause a reasonable person to lose self control. This makes them less morally culpable than if the act was premeditated (pre-planned) and done out of pure malice (malice aforethought).[1][2] It "affects the quality of the actor's state of mind as an indicator of moral blameworthiness".[1]”

What criminal act did Rudolph commit? Face masking? So is every player who gets face masked now free to do whatever they want?

What about the guys who get hit by a defender leading with the helmet? That's way worse. So now they are free to run around and tear people's helmets off and hit them with it?

I think their's a reason you're not a lawyer, you should stick to not playing one on the internet. Thelawdictionary.com is another site you might find useful.

I wanted Rudolph to press charges to turn it into an all out bleep-show. I don't really think he should he charged with assualt, but I also don't really care about Myles Garrett and he looked like an absolute clown. So if he got charged, i'd be fine with it. It'd be hilarious.

You seem hell bent on vindicating the dude for some reason.
