Ha ha get out of town mate! lol
Anthony Gordon has 4 and 2 in six months as a starter last season and i think you were nailing him last week as having no end product!
Takes corners and freekicks and all his goals have been scruffy to say the least.
And we're not talking about Gordon, we're talking about this idea Broja is a talent worth chasing while compared to a player he played with at Southampton who isn't, even though he has a better output and isn't a loan
Ones a winger playing without a striker and the other is a striker mate, there is absolutely no congruence in the logic to the points of appraisal equitably about both players, surely the criticism is as valid for Broja as it is for Gordon.
Until we got massive offeres Id be okay with us selling Gordon for 20m.We spent £1mill on Gray who has a better output than Gordon. Yet we'd gladly sell him for a fraction of the Gordon price if someone came in.
Could be befuddling yourself here.
Broja and Che Adams - 2 strikers. One with a better output that the other. Yet one is not good enough (Adams) the other is (Broja) based on a fan view.
Gordon's numbers are surely scrutinised based to this ridiculous fee we're getting? If you're talking numbers in relation to fees...Gordon is £60mill. Che Adams is under £20mill. You're getting better return for less money.

I know some Saints fans and in autumn last year they were absolutely raving about him and hoping they might have a chance of getting him on a perm. I think that was during his purple patch though. Don't know what they'd think of him now.Do we have any Southampton fans lurking that can give us a full appraisal of his season rather than just those that saw his youtube video or MOTD?
Depends what comparison you are trying to make here.Could be befuddling yourself here.

At the same age as Broja is now Adams was scoring 0 in 10 games for Sheffield United in League one after securing a move form the Northern premier League the season before when he scored 8 goals.
In terms of what we need at this exact moment in time then there is a case to look at Adams being better than Broja. Broja is a signing based on potential (as he should be, he has not long turned 20) whereas with Adams you are pretty much buying him for what he is now as he is in his prime (26).
Broja is the more direct replacement/back-up for Dominic Calvert-Lewin though. Adams would be more of a Richarlison replacement as they are totally different players.
I don't think i am mate I'm extrapolating your assessment, logic on Broja and applying it to your argument on Gordon which are contrasting and incongruent when applied - i didn't mention fee i mentioned your point on end product.
Essentially, you are being a lot kinder to Broja then you are do Gordon, applying the same logic and premise.
Doesn’t everybody? So you get home and find out you've shagged Che Adams?
