Having been out of the UK for almost 30 years I assumed its demise had long since passed. I recently went to Ireland and searched for Crunchies wiht zero success. It seems the Irish never had them..... Recently here in the US the grocery started carrying Violet Crumble which seems to be some sort of spinoff of the Crunchie. Are they still available in the UK?

Oh yes we did. One of my uncles favourites. Dad had a newsagents that sold all sorts of goodies.

I used to love the big square tins of broken biscuits
