Hopefully we've beaten Chelsea to tge signing of Croatian striker Andrej Kramaric.

Chelsea have gone cold on him. May be a good signing for you if he can hack the EPL. You're going to need goals but equally we need at least 3 worse teams than us so let's hope he's not too good if you get him

If the Bony deal goes through it's a strange one, City already have a full compliment of strikers (Aguero, Dzeko, Jovetic) They don't normally setup with 2 up front, so where does Bony fit in or who gets the elbow?
I thought ACN would keep him safe at Swansea till at least the summer, and aren't City inviting the wrath of FFP with even more high spending?

I imagine it would pretty much confirm that they would play two up front in most of their games as opposed to just some of them.

Hart
Zabaleta Kompany Demichellis Kolarov
Silva Toure Fernando Nasri
Bony Aguero

Chelsea wanted to do their usual sign him up and send him to Vitesse Arnhem for 3 years. Also offered less for him. Apparently they get first refusal if we are relegated, don't know how they've managed that?

Is it really that bad that you are considering relegation?! I'm sure you won't be close to going down

Our form at the moment is pure relegation. Hopefully yesterday's rather lucky draw with the Hammers at least checks our losing streak and restores some confidence.
Complacency is our enemy though as we are not "Too Big" to go down.

it's a sad story to see bony go to city. one of the genuine class players not playing for one of the big teams and yet the bigger team just uses it's financial muscle at the flick of a finger.

great deal from swansea though, £12m, got a great year and a half from him scoring so many goals and then a £18m profit.

remember when moyes thought bony wasn't good enough for a loan ... ffs you ginger weapon

Bony is a plan B striker. An expensive one but I reckon they can afford it.

This probably gives them the edge in the title race. If Costa pulls a hammy, the chavs are relying on a past it Drogba and an inconsistent Remy.....I know who I'd put money on. Rather City than that smug word censored Maureen.

remy hasn't exactly been inconsistent for chelsea tbh, he's class. he did have purple patches at newcastle, but that's newcastle down to a T tbh.

haven't really kept up to date with the bony story, but i think i read the deal will be done after ACON?

not sure why swansea are agreeing to that tbh, gives them very little time to get the replacement(s) in with the window closing. obviously they can still look for alternatives and undertake negotiations whilst he's away - but why would the selling club wait around for a couple of weeks for the bony transfer to go through? would the player be happy enough to sit around and wait for it to be finalised?

suppose they have no real threat of relegation atm to panic too much by buying this january.

.he is a good striker but needs a run which he will never get at Chelsea.I honestly thought he would go to Spurs but the money to be a bench warmer at Chelsea is too good to turn down.

City have a better back up in Bony than Chelsea, with Aguero and his injury record,he'll probably get more game time as well. The price is slightly high but I don't see the down since they can afford it.

Chelsea willing to Pay. €200M release clause for Messi.

I can see this happening seeing as Fabregas and Messi are good mates.

If Mourinho's gets a player like Messi and makes him start doing donkey work tracking back, a little bit of me that loves football will die.

This happening is also Abramowich tattooing FFP on his a**e and asking Platini to kiss it.

Just seen the rumour is from the Daily Star so ignore it. They're the same ones who started the Isco to Arsenal for £64m rumour. Where do I begin with all that's wrong about that rumour.

Messi isnt being sold because barca cannot afford to sell him. He is the life and blood of their team and by selling him they would take 2 steps back out of the title race as there isnt any quality players in the world they could sign anywhere near his talent.

Chelsea could afford to buy him in one way or another but for a 27 year old who may or may not even be able to adapt to the league they wouldn't spend that amount of money.
