Indeed. I wouldn't want my club to spend £200 million on ANY player. The thing is, Chelsea just cant do it - FFP WILL be all over it like a rash should they proceed.

I can't stand the little oik - he's like Stevie Me at Poo, thinks he's bigger than the club.

Financial fair play is s load of nonsense. Fans clinging to it hoping it will rein in City,Chavs and Psg can dream on.

There is nothing stopping..say Usmanov from deciding he wants all of Arsenal's training facilities to bear his name for 5yrs at £50m a season. That instantly pays for Messi and his wages. They let Abramowich turn his £800m debt into equity so why can't anybody else bend the rules.

I wouldn't want my club to do it because we can afford a decent squad,the manager's just being an economist not a football manager.

After having Ronaldo at ManU, can you really talk about players that think they are bigger than the club. That banner over Madrid..one word...embarrassing.

Fahey,you only like financial fair play because it perpetuates a cartel.

It's not a coincidence that Abramowich is an advocate. He thought him and chavs would dominate the league and Europe for decades till the Arab sheikhs turned up and ruined his plan so he wants to make sure they can't.

FFP is the most anti-competitive load of nonsense and I suspect you only like it Fahey because of the fear of City and chavs making you just another top 4 hanger on like Arsenal and the pool,feeding off the scraps those 2 no longer want.

United fan in not liking Messi shocker!!

finacial fail play is bollocks, and designed to keep clubs like united above clubs like city n chelsea....as they dont want anymore to start challenging the likes of yourselves.
 
Imagine Man City got Messi....just imagine the tear and fume from Man United fans about City ruining football.....
 

Messi has had 9 new contracts in the last 10 years.

He followed Chelsea on Instagram this week, sounds trivial but that will send a message to the club. The presidential election at FCB will be about who can offer Messi the biggest contract.

Erm, I can't stand Messi OR Ronaldo as people. Both incredible footballers though. And plenty of United fans love Messi - don't be so childish.
