A year and a half in the making this thread.

Think of all the pasties consumed, and also those that didn't make it and went green from the expired sell by date.

Cheese and onion pastie from Sayers, none of this Greggs/Waterfields posh crap, if yer from Walton, your staple diet should be a sayers pastie.

pass !

went into Ashton-in-makerfield the other day and the Hampsons/Sayers had the shop fitters in, Oh No It's shut down !! was my thought, but au contraire, they have had a rebranding cos I just went there and what stands in it's place ?

whoever thought of this deserves a promotion as it also carries the added bonus that you wont bump into ghost as he will say it's a scavs bakery.

Tried two on Saturday before football.
First was Lamb and Mint - Shortcrust pastry. Lots of tender meat, good gravy and quite a strong taste of mint. 4.5/5
Pork and Apple - Shortcrust pastry - Again lots of meat and sliced apples, not as nice as the Lamb one, but still a 4/5
I will be returning to my local Kernows Bakery next week.
Played superb too, so I thank the pastie energy!
