Neither of our families live nearby so didn’t have to invite them which made it even better tbh. Couldn’t be hooped with my old man leering on the bridesmaids and making mad inappropriate comments.
A few of my cousins and an Auntie proper saw their arse about it.

Went on about it for months, demanding that we threw a party.

1 of my cousins has been married twice, both proper posh weddings that must have cost him a bomb, hes single now, but probably still paying them off.
 

I actually dont think I look much different, everyone keeps telling me ive lost loads of weight and I have, but I still look fat to me.

My motivation is my Grandson, the more weight I lose, the longer I have in this world to watch him grow.
You sound like a guy I knew in college. He lost thirty pounds one summer, no one noticed and he was torqued. "I lost a small dog, and no one noticed!"
 
In a world full of negativity and in addition just being an Everton fan we need some none football related positive stories.

Anyones life had a change for the better recently?
Started the gym?
Feeling healthier?
Bought their first house?
Moved house?
Sold house for a tidy profit?
Moved to a new area?
Come into some money?
New job?

I get embarrassed when people mention it and mildly annoyed when people dont.

I absolutely loved the attention when I lost loads of weight in my early 20's. I felt so smug for some reason even though all I'd done was stop being fat. The only reason I'm starting my fitness regime tomorrow is so I get the comments again (not that I'm massive now or anything).

Im not gonna lie, its hard, very hard, all my favourite food calls to me daily.

And im sick of the healthy food, I mean I really used to like grapes, but now they are my snacking food instead of Mars Bars, I kinda hate them now for not being a Mars Bar, yano?

But im glad im doing it, I have so much more energy and its good to step on the scales and see progress.

Yeh it's weird. I did like 8 weeks pure full on hardcore from May and I felt belting but last 3 weeks completely fallen back into my old cycle, even though I feel like poop, and I know how good I feel after being healthy? It's bizarre. Just addicted to the taste of bad foods. But I did go see a doctor and nutritionist and I have an eating disorder so it makes sense.

Yeah, I'm in a weight loss cycle and eating far more vegetables than I prefer. Don't mind the cherries for snacking at all, but those won't be cheap here for much longer. Slow going, as the weather forces me to exercise either late at night or at some ungodly early morning hour. Didn't exercise at all this past week, because I realized early this week it was just too dangerous for someone susceptible to heat exhaustion to be out there for extended periods at any hour.

The rain finally showed up and took the edge off things, so I can get back out there.

Ive slacked a lot this month, got bored with swimming and couldnt stand the gym, so ive cancelled my membership and going back to walking tomorrow, gonna push hard for the whole of August.
