I'm into my fourth week of six undergoing radiotherapy for throat (vocal chord) cancer. This is the bespoke (perforated) mask that is screwed down tight over my face and shoulders before treatment. Each session lasts about ten minutes. I don't recommend it for anyone who suffers from claustrophobia!

The second half of the treatment is already proving a lot worse than the first, particularly as swallowing is really painful and breathing is getting more and more shallow due to the swelling in my airway. On Monday I had to undergo three attempts (total 25 mins but mask removed twice in between). I never thought it would happen but I had a mild panic attempt during the second attempt and really didn't want to go through it a third time. But I did, I survived and yesterday was back to a once-only, as all others had been prior to Monday.

May you have a speedy recovery fellow Toffee.

Looks beautiful

Concrete doesn't age well on these shores though. It would've been covered in black mould within a few years

Besides looking like 70's plastic rubbish, there's some quality, the cistern is hidden and the big flush small flush button looks good. Not sure about the off colour bogbrush, or the extra roll of paper hid behind jesus as it seems to large to fit in the dispenser. Also the glare, caught on the lens, it's not a spotlight its some naff lampshade and a bulb thats fit more for a tanning salon than ecclesiastical cabinet crapper. (there I was thinking russki but the air freshener is uk/euro zone)
