I’m actually not arsed how long the contract is. He’s coming in so will be behind him.
Until he starts doucoure.
Until he starts doucoure.
It has to six , eighteen or thirty months otherwise it is a contract expiring mid season.Inevitable.
I'll go with it...like a said I'd have preferred a short term deal but I won't throw my toys out the pram over it.The contract makes perfect sense if you want a new progressive manager to be handed a club with solid foundation rather than a relegation battle you could hope what Moyes did at West Ham could be done where where a few shrewd signings and next season it's a solid mid table finish and then you're looking for someone to take on that rather than this.
He's getting the band back togetherHe was, he's been out of a job for about 2 years.
A perfect appointment, more Jobs For The Boys(TM) hires needed here. Know the club and all that.
And if the Manager is prepared to take that responsibility then all the better. I can never get why a 'Director of Football' can call the shots with players and not be responsible week to week for the outcome.I wonder what this will mean for Thelwell? Moyes known to not tolerate Directors of Football that well and wants to control recruitment. Quite well documented how it was difficult between him and Tim Steidten at West Ham.
Lee Carsley wants the job full-time having talks today - Moyes may get it as it's only for 6 months Carsley wants it full-time he knows all the young players in the England set up - managed England - he would be my choice as no 1 with Moyes as no 2 TBH - replacing DM for SD is like for like IMO .....Why not pair Moyes and Carsley till end of season and then decide on Carsley
2.5 year deal. OK that's mental
