It's like we have no imagination or knowledge of the footballing world.

If there's an up and coming manager,
I guarantee Everton have not heard of him.

Fast forward a year or 2 and we'll be in the same position footballing wise, but then Martinez will be available then....

It's not this at all. It's crazy that people can't understand that we are having to deal with the market available to us in January when Dyche has put us in a trash position. If this was the summer things would be very different and Moyes wouldn't even be considered.

Don't know why we don't hire the dog from the littlest hobo

Always seemed a likeable dog, got on with everyone, plenty of experience.

I know there's others dogs that are out there but they're all under contract whereas the littlest hobo is just on a rolling contract

Kin song stuck in my head for the afternoon now.

"There's a place keeps on calling me..............."

Oh yeah he wasn't fired, they just didn't offer him a deal after talking about it, makes a huge difference anyway.

The League form suffered so much they were literally around us for half a season, and we were just about relegated.

United lost 5 games in that season they were 6th, and won two domestic cups and the Europa League, very, very much incomparable as far as achievements go - he went there to win things and won things.

No one called it a crap trophy until Moyes/WHam lost one and people on here laughed at them for winning it, bizarrely.

It's good management, yet lack any kind of winning mentality or imagination in the long run and we can try to erase his knife to a gunfight mentality if you so want, whatever floats your boat.

Can we also stop going back to the same managers for the N-th time? Just in general?

maybe TFG will do the latter when they know we’re stable and can get who they want

All our yesterdays in here looking at ancient you tube vids of our so called “glory days” to justify bringing back a manager that was part of our “knife to a gunfight” plucky little Everton schtick, that his beloved chairman perpetuated to keep us down.

not the future we should be wanting or accepting tbh.

end of the day it’s what the owners see as the solution right now
