I’m all in cos my kids still sing “he’s got red hair, but we don’t care” 🤣

6 months with an option for an extra year would seem sensible.

If he keeps us up, he gets a season next year to show he can move us forward.

Also I don’t count United on his record, especially as literally no one has succeeded there since Fergie left

He doesn’t have my support or my respect , I wouldn’t urinate on him if he was on fire .
But I will continue to support the team as always ( for this season anyway , big decision to make soon concerning next season I suppose )
Yeah, im defo going to BM next season, but after that, I dunno.

I supported this club in the 90s, so I understand pain, but I dunno, this club has beaten me and im not sure if my mojo can return.

Looking at our best players under Moyes, apart from a notable couple like Yakubu (who was already the finished article), I think he developed them into better players.
Coleman and Baines both struggled at the start, but Moyes improved them and turned them into excellent fullbacks. Jags, Yobo, Lescott, Fellaini, Pienaar, Arteta and Cahill all developed under his management.
In the position we are in, we need to improve the output of players we have and he has a record of doing that, problem is he was afforded time to do it first time.. not sure we want the second stint to last that long! 😆 Though personally, if he got us headed towards Europe I’d be happy after the last decade or so. I’m not a Moyes advocate and if this was the start of summer I’d be downhearted but we’re in the middle of a battle and for my money he’s probably got what’s needed for that.

Mourinho saying TFG didn't know their arse from their elbow when it come to football wasn't just a flippant remark. I think it was The Athletic that said there was no chance of that ever happening because of how it ended at Roma.
Ah, thought I read somewhere it was him just spitting the dummy but maintained a relationship with TFG but does make sense. Got to say I would never have dreamed we’d end up with Moyes in charge ever again.

Just look at the names he has developed: Rooney, Rice, Bowen, Jagielka, Lescott, Arteta. So many excellent players, and in a variety of positions. You always think of him as a defensive coach, but the way he turned Arnautovic into one of the deadliest strikers in the league was marvelous.
