Moving to a new stadium, with new owners and entering a supposed new era with David Moyes mark two as manager.

A relic from the Kenwright era leading Everton into a supposed new era, is the ultimate Everton that moment.

The more things change at Everton the more they stay the same.

Said all along a big shiny new stadium is the last thing we needed. Boardroom academy and first team football needs to be right first. Totally get the commercial side of it but near killed us building that ground only for us to be playing the same 💩 in it next season.
Couldn’t be further from the truth. The stadium was of vital importance if we ever want to take our place among the elite again

We’ve been waiting 20 odd years for it. As long as we got to it still in the Premier League was all that mattered

Its official, there's already a massive endorsement of Moyes imminent return as The Relegation Thread has sunk down to the second page of the Everton Forum

Stability is key, we needed to be solid in the premiership for a while and allow the club to settle again after the past 10+ years.
Not overwhelming signing but think he'll do that better than anyone at this current time

Stability comes from improvement. Is Moyes going to improve the team?

If it was the Summer I doubt he'd of got the job. But it's not the Summer and we're in trouble.

He is definitely an upgrade, on Dyche. A manager that had been replaced, because Westham believe they are this amazing football side. Not because he was doing badly. He got them in Europe and won a trophy. I really think, if he'd not tried to nick our two best players on the cheap, saying something silly. We'd not be bothered by this? I didn't blame him leaving. His contract was up and he'd been offered the biggest job in England at the time.

Let's get behind him and hopefully we will stay up. I'm sure the big reset, will happen in the next 12 to 18 months.

On the current style of play, without doubt, every incoming manager would do that.
On building a new side ?, I think he bought well for us ,we've spent so long buying players that didn't fit at this club, I hope/think he will do that and put us in a better position when the time comes for a new manager.

What is the club? I think that needs to be defined. I do not think in 2025 Moyes is the one to define it.
