Made up Moyes is back.
Safe pair of hands and he gets us.
We are not suddenly going to start playing like vintage Brazil with this squad.
We could barely out pass a team 2 divisions lower.
If we are going to play through the midfield rather than bypass it we need Tim and Garner back and/or the addition of 3/ 4 quality players, including a goalscorer.
Moyes always bought well and could spot a player. He will improve us over time.

Couldn’t be further from the truth. The stadium was of vital importance if we ever want to take our place among the elite again

We’ve been waiting 20 odd years for it. As long as we got to it still in the Premier League was all that mattered
Will you be happy watching the same crap for the next 20 years as long as we stay in the premier league?

I dont care anymore. Genuinely in it for the nostalgia. Dont give a toss about the results. I want to feel something .. if only for a moment.

Probably the best years of my life. Everton and personal.

Stability is key, we needed to be solid in the premiership for a while and allow the club to settle again after the past 10+ years.
Not overwhelming signing but think he'll do that better than anyone at this current time
If only Villa and Forest had known this before doing daft things like showing ambition or trying to qualify for the champions league.

I know people are pointing out past achievements and stuff but the entire fabric of the premier league is totally different today to what it was when he joined and subsequently left. It’s a different sport and it’s no longer quite as “simple” as a bad team getting some good players in to get good, especially when the league has a massive hard on for Everton atm.

mate kendall’s to this is totally different
Help me out Matty, how. I'm my way of explaining it was that it was an ex manager coming back to manage, that didn't turn out well. I'm struggling to find an example where one has worked out well anywhere.

However looking through the thread other people's opinions have changed my mind slightly. He's gathered more experience when he left us. He's also won something.
