Ah. So it's the ownership fault West Ham have been pony for all but two years of their recent history but Moyes is at fault for the other year or so.
They had their best ever first half of a season last season and were coming off the back of winning a European trophy. Hardly being pony!

This is the big problem with it for me. We really needed an appointment to give some excitement and get people behind them but instead we’re making one which will have a large portion of the fan base offside from the start and ready to have their preconceived biases confirmed.

It's that old adage of you're never more popular than on your first day. So even though it's not a majority, it's significant.

I mean it's not a popularity contest, but it could certainly backfire.

Exactly. Always feel like some are more comfortable complaining than getting behind the team.

There’s no realistic candidate that unifies the fanbase that I can tell either.

I actually don’t want him back.

Why go back for someone who failed to achieve the main thing at a football club, you know win things.

I’ll give him huge credit he kept us in the league and kept club at a ok level but he surrender all credit when he signed that contract that was for his silence as to where kenwright was taking this club.
Moyes helped keep the club out of administration.

Shat on us from a very great height:

"If I'd been Everton manager and Sir Alex had come asking for Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini, I'd have found it very difficult to keep them because I always felt the right thing to do was what was right for the players," he said.

"I know exactly how Everton work. I think I've signed every player at Everton. I know exactly how they work," he said. Moyes was unaware of the former Everton goalkeeper Neville Southall's claim that the Scot was "despicable" regarding the bid.

An fa cup final
4th spot
Numerous European nights
Consistent top half finishes
More wins than losses
Quality cheap signings
Winning a game 7-1
Made Goodison a fortress at times

Yeah your right why bring him in, let’s get dyche back, I miss the 0 shots on targets every week, the 30% possession, the lack of goals from open play and the constant hoofball tactics
