Shat on us from a very great height:

"If I'd been Everton manager and Sir Alex had come asking for Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini, I'd have found it very difficult to keep them because I always felt the right thing to do was what was right for the players," he said.

"I know exactly how Everton work. I think I've signed every player at Everton. I know exactly how they work," he said. Moyes was unaware of the former Everton goalkeeper Neville Southall's claim that the Scot was "despicable" regarding the bid.

The Everton was spearheaded by Bk et Al.
Not TFG.

In six months the club won't be recognisable.

Fairy tale stuff this you have to admit

It's obvious that the ideal solution was to give Dyche until the summer and then go our separate ways. That hasn't happened (due to form) and now we need someone who gives us the best chance of surviving. A more imaginative appointment could spark the fan base but there's also the other possibility that it goes completely wrong.
Exactly this.
Dyche made a complete pigs ear of it this season otherwise we could have calmly reassessed at the end of the season. The owners' hand was forced.

So we have an even worse record since he left then.
Bottling games in the latter stages of cups isn’t really our main concern right now is it.
Well we finished 5th under Martinez, 7th under Koeman, 8th under both Allardyce and Silva and finished inside the top ten under Ancelotti.

It's only after Benitez was appointed manager that things started to really fall off the cliff.

Sacked by UTD
Sacked by Sociedad
Sacked by West Ham, twice.

Backwards decision. A red mark on TFG right away.
The red mark is dragging our last manger who saved us from relegation through the mud. The hiring of Moyes is adding the insult to the injury.

What kind of transfer window do you build around a 6 month appointment? The whole thing is just such an ill-conceived mess.

The criteria is absolute garbage.

PL experience? You mean like Dyche, Benitez, Mark Hughes, to name a few?

Knows the club? Maybe Rooney or Big Dunc could have a go?

It is pathetic, narrow-minded and uninspiring in the extreme.

Its not six months.

They say that it’s the hope that kills you, but the thought of Moyes 2.0 leaves me feeling very flat, with little or no hope tbh.

The whole thing reminds me of Kendall - Moyes had his time here and I don’t think we should be looking backwards, he should take his knife to a different gunfight.

Yeah I get it, I advocated keeping dyche for as long as I could and I was a big supporter of Moyes the first time round. I just think this is a bit of a problem for us now, even if it’s actually a sensible appointment if that makes any sense.

Will he get better then a 15% win rate?
