The sale of Fellaini

Moyes used his brains.

He saw an opportunity to deflect, and took it.

Bullseye.

Kin ell, people need to take a few breaths, count to a hundred and give some thought to ****ging off one of the two best players we have.

We got beat in a big game. Again. I know who I think has more to do with that.

Doesn't matter, Dave...if he was truly one of the best he'd lead by example and just go get the ball back; after all, it's one of the things he's best at doing. He shouldn't have been taken off as he's probably our main threat pitch-wide...but he was acting a tit.

One person to blame today. I totally agree with davek.. The s***house on the sidelines, complete disgrace to put that team out in the biggest game of the season

Did he? It looked to me that he was just pissed off with hsi own performance and it peaked with that misplaced pass. In a moment of extreme frustration he didn't realise the ball was coming back his way.

I think its bollocks to say he couldn't be arsed or wanted to come off, just because he doesn't chase everythinf full pelt for 90 mins doesn't mean he doesn't care as a professional, if anything id say his reaction shows he does care.

If anything i'm surprised people aren't moaning at Moyes for taking him off at that moment allowing the crowd to boo him off. As chico said in the match thread, he is still one of our most likely players to do soemthing even on a bad day.

Got to agree with this .

I really like Fellaini but I won't be too bothered when he goes. He very rarely plays in his best position, which means Everton are effectively paying £70k a week for a 10-12 goal a-season forward. They may as well sell up.

Some of the fees people put forward are ridiculous though. I very much doubt that the bidding will go higher than £20m.

Witsel was sold for £32.5m, and Fellaini is the better of those two.

Fellaini was despicable today. I was there and I saw him turn his back on play in a fit of petulance. Somebody said that he didn't realise that the ball would come back his way - of course he didn't because he had stopped playing. This is inexcusable for any player and even worse for a player paid as much as he is.
Cash in now, while he may still have some value. I don't want to see him play for us ever again.

I'm not a fan of fellaini behind the striker and havent been impressed for months now. Moyes believes he cahill replacement but for me he should be next to gibson in mid. He will be sold this summer for around 20 mil.

If Fellaini is prepared to go to Russia then Everton could get a fee in that region, but it seems more likely he'll either stay in England or go to Spain. Chelsea and PSG are probably the most likely to overpay if they're interested.

After this latest strop he can just feck off this summer. We require 100% for the shirt and he gave nothing today, out of position or not.

I still think that's probably his most "effective" position. He can turn in the odd Roy of the Rovers performance in that defensive midfield role but for the most part I think he flatters to deceive. His tracking of runners leaves a lot to be desired to say the least.
