The sale of Fellaini

He's not been his best for a while, no.

Apart from terrorizing Villa in the second half last week.

Anyway, no CL football next season and Felli will be sold....so get used to the idea that he will not be here next season. Johnny will be sold i reckon anyway if only because he won't be happy being on the bench

There may be an intention to sell, but first there must be an intention to buy, his Dad / agent has touted him around enough times to no avail

but also

How much do we still owe on him

How much are Standard in for if he is sold on

I doubt we will net 10mill.

and it is 50/50 there will even be a realistic buyer as apposed to chancers looking for a bargin

Anyway, we lost £9m last year, but this year we have:

- Much higher gate receipts
- Probable improved league position
- New sponsorship deals

A decent amount of that £9m figure will be written off by that.

hardly, last season we had 7 cup games (188076) at home and a fa cup prize money alone was over 1m

4 away and 1 at home this season so far.

even with the increase in attendances this season I would say we take in less this season

He needs selling but everytime he plays huge chunks of his are fee are eroding he will be only got rid off on a free at this rate ah well it will be 55-60 k of the wage bill should have been sold in January imo!

we'll have money to strengthen of course, and strengthen in more positions than just his own, which is desperately needed. But we need to replace him with another big game player. he's always been there for us this season, scoring against the big teams, or at least having a massive impact. He's also been very unplayable in games, and it's that sort of presence we need to replace as well as quality when he eventually goes. Easier said than done

At the time, 24 million for an 18 year old was good business, and we did pretty well the season after.
It might have been good business if we'd got it all upfront, but the structure of the deal was ridiculous, considering Rooney's profile at the time.

As for doing well the season after, yes we did, but don't act like that was all some big master plan... or even that it was related to the money that we brought in from Rooney, since we spent £2.2m of it.

File.ashx

I've still not seen an actual logical explanation for this.

Quite a number of people have claimed Kenwright somehow loses money on gambling, but where's the proof ?

Manchester City have joined the race to take Marouane Fellaini from Everton, writes the Sunday People.
The 25-year-old Belgian is also a top target for Chelsea, but the European champions will now have to battle it out with mega-rich rivals City in the summer.
The Eastlands club's bosses will offer a deal worth £23million, which could include up to two players.
Everton boss David Moyes might be tempted if defender Gael Clichy is part of the deal.

Have some of that.

haha yes, our manager (who doesn't know whether he'll be here next season) wants to get a left back as part of the deal so he can sit on the bench. i can see that happening

would hate to see mofro play for another english team, but if chelsea and city start a bidding war it wouldn't be the worse thing in the world.

courtois, lukaku and £5m would be ace - would never happen

Why the hell would Courtois come here?
