The sale of Fellaini

Always good to see City entering the proceedings of a bidding war.

Lescott, Milner & £15m please.

Add Sinclair into that and i'd take that. 3 players added to the squad depth and a couple of em could quite easily go straight into the team, and £15m to spend on certain, needed areas of the team, be more than happy with that.

Felli is good, but a player we'd get by without IMO. It's IF Bainesy leaves thats the worry for me!!.

sinclair is mid table standard at best mate. milner's a workhorse, but we already have plenty of them. the only point in getting lescott would be if we could get heitinga's wages off the books, which seem unlikely. we'd be replacing a match winner with average squad fillers if we did that deal.

Three players plus £15m ?

We're selling Fellaini not Messi !

Not to mention those three probably have combined wages of 200k per week.

Except he can pass, cross, and shoot too. He's a much better play than most give him credit for. Workhorse makes him sound like a Naismith. To call Lescott and Milner average squad fillers is unreal mate, they'd walk into most teams and be the star players outside the top 4.

That would be the biggest stumbling block.

Not that this is ever going to happen anyway

Yep, it will always be the biggest problem when it comes to selling one of our best players.

If we wanted to get proven quality into the side to replace Felli then not only does that normally cost transfer fee wise, but wages won't be small either. The idea that we can replace Felli with 3 or 4 proven players is wishful thinking, imo.

It is, no doubt. We're more likely to get one player we've heard of, two players 95% of us have never seen play and a youngster. Still, the unknowns usually turn out well for us.

he's a good player, but when you consider he'd be fellaini's replacement, i would be very underwhelmed. i don't rate lescott massively tbh, think his goal return makes him look a better player than he is, he wouldn't be a big step up from our current centre backs. we have positions in much more need of strengthening

Milner has arguably been their most consistent player of the last 2 months. Much better than people think Would love him at Everton - not as fellaini's replacement, they are completley different players.

I still think we need a Central Midfielder, Osman and Gibson together still isn't strong enough for me.

I'd prefer Fellaini alongside Gibson with Osman further forward but we all know Moyes won't do that, so a player of a similar style to Fer would be ideal.

We need at least one CB, a right mid because Naismith isn't a good enough back up for me, a CM, an attacking mid and a striker. Oh, and at least a decent competition for Howard.

couldn't find a Fellaini thread. But the sooner he goes, the better. Glad to see him getting booed off the pitch, didn't look like he wanted it, just whinged instead of trying to get the ball back when he lost it.
