If he does go, the media will demand Eddie flavour of the month Howe, and Scotland will win out group.

Also:

Over the coming days the Telegraph will detail how:

The assistant manager of a high-profile football club accepted a £5,000 cash “bung”

Ten managers were named by players’ agents as taking bribes to fix player transfers

Two well-known managers discussed becoming ambassadors for the same fictitious firm as Sam Allardyce

Another high-profile manager admitted his players broke FA rules by betting on their own games but he failed to report it

A senior figure at a Premier League club helped undercover reporters to formulate a plan to bribe managers

Predictions?

I've got a weird feeling Everton might just be in there somewhere. I'd guess Newcastle and Sunderland too

Eddie Howe will probably become the England Manager as well, which is actually quite alright.
Nah, there is no 'alright' choice, as the team and everything about it is controlled by media, 'higher ups' and, essentially, The "Sky" 4 more than the man who is actually in charge.

If Eddie Howe does get the job England will still play Rooney in a random position, play a 4-2-3-1 ineffectively, and be dire against anyone that isn't San Marino. Also has there ever been an Evertonian managing England before?

And of course, if it happens, he will instantly not be an Evertonian and denounce ever being one, saying he was always a fan of Manchester United or Liverpool.

Wow. The media in this country are a joke. Seriously, it's embarrassing now. They hounded managers out of the national team job on a regular basis now.

I mean why even try to set allardice up? What was the point in getting him to say things knowing full well he could be sacked as a result?

Bloody joke of a country
