Tbh beating teams we usually roll over to every year has been a highlight.Laughing at Liverpools form has been our highlight
Early season form with being able to field a full 1st eleven was pretty good.
Now.....meh.

It's comforting that I'm not alone in my misery!

Think we all are mate.
Combination of us going flat, no fans, VAR etc.
To be fair our form against the better teams in the league has been class this season (apart from United and City) 3pts from Chelsea, 4 from the RS, 4 from Leicester, beat Arsenal and Spurs etcLack of fans or not, winning away at Spurs and Liverpool was good to get the monkey off our back of no away win since 2014 at a top 6 ground.
When the best 11 is fit we are top 4 side challenger for me now. The first team squad is weak but could push into Europe, will be down to game management with touch of luck.To be fair our form against the better teams in the league has been class this season (apart from United and City) 3pts from Chelsea, 4 from the RS, 4 from Leicester, beat Arsenal and Spurs etc
Might be veering off topic slightly, but what with lockdown and everything else going Everton's season just fits into the overall landscape. Personally speaking. A big old sea of meh. With the August excitement of the midfield signings now a very distant memory I’m looking at the remaining games and wondering if we will see another victory this season. Given the declining standard of football we are seeing and looking at the games that lie ahead I wouldn’t even be confident of beating Sheffield United who may well be relegated by the time the fixture comes round. That normally means relegated teams start picking up once they have their fate sealed. The rest of the games look really tough now whereas earlier in the season they didn’t. Anyone else contemplating zero wins between now and 23rd May. It could be a disastrous end to a promising season. I’m not normally this pessimistic but just feel drained of all expectation just now.
But they will still finish above us. So our whole season was about winning there, which is something Burnley, Fulham, Chelsea, Brighton and Man City were also able to do.Hold on how long is it since the RS beat us?
Tide has turned on Merseyside!
