Her coming home early whilst I had a cam cover with freshly sprayed crackle finish paint baking at gas mark 3 in the oven.

About 3 weeks of silence and horrible looks. Ever so frosty.

I did that bit with pistons and conrods in the dishwasher

Not heard the last of it to this day.

Currently on day 2 of the silent treatment, for some imaginary domestic crime, committed against womanhood.

Which coincidentally has coincided with a delay in her HRT treatment.

I’m a master at riding this out and just carry on as normal.

I’m waiting for the inevitable explosion, which follows when she comes to the realisation, that it‘s not working.

To be sure. I've been married 12 years and with my wife for 18 and I'm a bit shocked by this thread how it seems to be a "thing". We have our ups and downs and annoy the piss out of each other at times, but I can't imagine giving her the "silent treatment", or vice versa. It just seems unbelievably childish, abusive behaviour to me.
