The Sinister 6 - Premier League Owners Charter

Yeah seen that on Twitter, already Newcastle are lining up with those clubs, maybe they'll replace Spurs.

It’s not even a case of “replacing”.

Premier League rules stipulate that a passing notion needs 14 to be approved. If let’s say the went for a salary cap, then it would never get through cause the big 7 money clubs would never allow it.

Just a salary cap. It isn't hard. Good teams can still be good. But they'll be punished when they aren't. And up and coming teams won't automatically get ripped apart.

Next you'll be telling us we should put in place a draft system so the unsuccessful teams get the pick of the upcoming talent ( rewarding failure ) like in the U.S

Remember when Chelsea had Jason Cundy playing for them? Heavily in debt and going into administration?
Remember when Man City were in the third tier?

Im in my 30s and I remember. The only thing I can't remember is Spurs winning anything and especially Arsenal in Europe.

There would be no "big 6" if UEFA didn't expand The Champions League to accommodate 4th place.

The fact that Tottenham are considered more elite than Celtic, Rangers, Ajax, PSV, Benfica etc just shows how UEFA have Ruined football.

As we've seen with Chelsea, man city, and soon to he Newcastle probably . Massive clubs can spring in overnight in football from total mediocrity.

While truly big clubs suffer.

Newcastle will be the interesting one - currently FFP prevents them from doing a Man City or Chelsea yet their owners will be wanting CL football.

Will the Saudi's fight to bring an end to FFP in the courts or accept their lot alongside the likes of Leicester, Everton, Villa, WHU of clubs fighting for the odd 5th-6th place finish and hopes of a one off FA Cup / League Cup win?

Its why also I believe anyone demanding Moshiri out realise without him and his mate Uzzy doing backhanded sponsorships propping up the accounts we would be screwed under FFP as our revenues are miles behind the top 6 and we haven't the profile to attract legitimate big sponser deals outside of USM.

The draft is actually dumb and unnecessary. You can just put everyone on the market and let teams sign them. Bad teams will have more money to spend (presumably) so they'll still be able to get good players by overpaying in a league with a salary cap.

But right now you have City who bring through Foden and just sign him to wages above what everyone else can pay too. With a cap they have to choose signing Foden or keeping Raheem or Mahrez or someone.

There are reports the European Super League will be back on the table this week. One big change to last time is that teams must qualify through domestic competitions.

I think this will go through this time, there will be a much bigger push for it, particularly if they get the French and German teams onside. If they have, English, Italian, Spanish, French and German teams in it, it’s a fairly strong proposition.

I hope it happens and the scan six can finally do one. They’ve pretty much destroyed football in this country anyway a sit is. They can all F off and everyone else can have a competitive interesting league without corrupt refereeing, match fixing, doping, and the relentless media manipulation for the favour of a few certain teams. Will almost be like the game most of us grew up watching where if you had a decent team and manager you had a chance every season at a trophy, not watching City and Liverpool B teams win cups and their A teams go on half season winning runs.

If it happens it will destroy the premier League, sponsors would leave, all the big players would leave and we would essentially have a championship standard premier League, turnovers would literally be cut in half

You mean all the greedy, over-priced players / agents and managers that dont care 1 bit about the country, communities and the football pyramid and its fans ??

Good, bring it on.

Looks like the English clubs have got the okay from PL Ceo Richards Masters as long as the ESL games are midweek.

A massive gigantic positive about the ESL is the FFP rules are going to be more stringent and applied harshly than the joke that is UEFA did with FFP, hopefully owner linked commercial deals could be omitted like Perez talked about a few months ago, still wonder if PSG will still refuse and if City are fully committed to it.

Great it's open invitation instead a closed shop and FFP fully incorporated properly then it's got my attention.

Basically as long as City and PSG don’t batter you once you’re in it you’re ok with it?

You are in a dream world if you think there’ll be any control over spending. The whole reason they want to break away is because they want to break out of FFP and away from relegation. It will just be the biggest cesspit of cash cows you’ve ever seen and doped up Liverpool will be the biggest pig of the lot squealing in the sghyt.

You mean watching crap players with boring games, watching star players leave for the ESL after one season. You want to bring that on do you
