Barry is an uninspiring player, but he's just the sort of player that we need at the minute, a genuine holding midfielder, who'll give some much needed protection to the back line.

I'd be quite happy with him coming in & I can see why it might suit both clubs & the player himself.

Sounds a half sensible rumour to me like.

Barry or Parker would do as cover/rotation/options for Gibson and Fellaini. Short term fixes, but if money is tight as usual begger's can't be choosers!

Both better options than Neville was last season.
