The summer 2013 Everton transfer rumourZ thread

What do they reckon over at Utd, that they can just take our players for nothing? I seem Moyes is set on doing business in the dirtiest fashion possible. Not paying market value but unsettling players to force the selling clubs hand.

As i said....Bill and Jon are not impressed with ginge.

Then hopefully they will refuse to do business with him.

This bid is so derisory it is actually a tad confusing!

They have already rejected 12m for Baines, and we paid 15m for Fellaini. So that's 1m over those figures! Are we that stupid that we would sell a player at less value than we paid for him when he was one of the most talked about players in the premier league last season? It's all a bit silly, what is old ginger bollocks playing at?

However, I think we need to get used to the idea that they are going.

If Bill and Jon sell for less than 40m they need running out of GP with pitchforks and fire.

Don´t you realise?

He´s trying to make Fellaini, Baines or both hand in transfer request, or at least "declare for Man Utd" and by doing that make Evertons position impossible.

Moyes wants to be the big swinging dick around town and this is the way he thinks he´ll get that respect. I reckon he figures if he acts like cnut he will look more like Ferguson. Thing is, managers of rich clubs don´t act that way today. If you look at the likes of Chelsea and Man City, yes, they get their player but the selling club is always appropriately compensated.

Expect Fellaini to hand in a request after this.

Can't see Baines doing it though.

Fellaini has a lengthy contract and should only go for the appropriate price.

Spot on mate- they identified their targets early, made the appropriate bids and got the players in. This all strikes me as United not having the financial clout to compete with likes of City so they trying to do stuff on the cheap. This will just rumble on now until they go or window shuts. I hope we hold firm.

What makes me laugh about this bid utd have made for Baines and Felli £28 mil, these two players in the prem who where voted for in Europes best 50 players, maybe i it's time to tell the ginger one enough is enough we are not plucky Everton and not to do business with these sharks whilst he his in charge.

The bid is obviously designed to unsettle the players and is probably expected to be rejected. The problem now is that this crap will probably go on for the next 2 weeks, which could disrupt our start to the season.

28m, w@nkers they are

Bit of a make or break period for the board now. Don't think we can afford to sell either of them for any amount now, just because if we bend over for Moyes and United now we may as well bend over for anyone.

Time to make a stand, Bill.

The man they got in charge is also that now - cheap.

If there´s anything good to come of this it could be that the bad blood that this raises might finally piss Bill, Elstone and the board off enough so we can finally purge our club of the cosy attachment we seem to have to Man Utd.

Let´s be honest, Moyes made us their feeder club. I know there´s only been Rooney and himself going there, but the secret handshakes were always present; if something special (like Barkley) turned up United would have first dibs. Moyes, Neville, goddam sleeper agents.

Kick them out, everyone who in the least wants to cosy up to those red [Poor language removed].

We'll now see what the board are made of. Every player has a price, 28 mil for 2 is an insult and that is exactly what BK should publicly say
