Whoever mentioned Gareth Barry, they are spot on. He would be perfect for us.

And for all those who doubt it, I would cite just one player.

All the arl4rses will get it. You younger lids will have to look him up.

That player?

Paul Power.

You truly are a massive philosopher! I remember a few eyebrows being raised when we signed a certain aging second division crocked midfielder from Bolton.

I seem to be in a minority of 1 but i thought Osman was ok yesterday playing slightly deeper. Out of all the midfield he was the one looking to collect off of the back four and start to build attacks. He seemed pretty disciplined sitting in there. Yes he made one or two dodgy passes but overall he was nowhere near as bad as some are making out.

Whether he can do it consistently over a season i do not know, but he is good back-up when we need him

He can do a job there but he's probably the last name on the team sheet for me.

Victor moses or that guy Cedric that plays for betis be a great signing for us in my opinion and bring in the psg centre mid... He wasn't in squad this weekend... If we can add another 2 and keep current squad we will have a strong squad and it's on the bench it's noticeable for me quality players that can change a game on the bench...

That Cedric fella for Betis is apparently having a stormer against Madrid right now..

However it was the visitors that opened the scoring, when the impressive Cedric burst through the Real Madrid backline at will before squaring for Molina to tap into the empty net.

Real looked flustered and were struggling to deal with the pace of Cedric down the flanks, although it was Jorge Molina who almost doubled Betis’ lead when chasing down a through ball.

Madrid's left back was awarded the MoM and Cedric, playing largely on the right, was rated 8/10. It must have been some tussle!

He's the right age, seems to be the business and they're seemingly hard up. It would make a lot of sense.

Cant see how Barry would be perfect for us? Not creative, sits deep, no thank you. We have Gibson to play that Role and Osman seems to spend most of the time deep anyway.

Barry is better than Gibson IMO. People who call him ****e or over-rated have generally never watched him closely and are just regurgitating ****e that other (misinformed) people spout.

We won't move for Barry unless Fellaini goes apparently, which is a massive no for me. I don't even need to say why it's a masive no really.

I'll assume you're not directing that at me since I never said he was ****e. Just don't think hes what we need. We need someone with a bit of creative flair (Maybe Barkley is the answer for that).
