maybe suggests it, but could also suggest he has been underrated and is the first player people look to make a profit on. lots managers don't like players who just grab goals and don't look to do it all over the pitch. has he openly pushed for transfers?

I agree with you about managers not rating him, but he has engineered the moves with social media. Seriously, if we sign him, I will be happy, I think he is one of the best english striker in the prem, just concerned about spending a large sum of money on a striker who isn't bothered (beattie). I dont think there has been anything in the media about him wanting a move, but he has got to be on a ****-ton of cash which Lambert will want to pay his next bunch of lower division players he brings in.

John Stones, wasnt he brought in to become a long term Centre Back?

Off subject but lets hope we have our scouts tonight against the Spanish. Hoping that the Dutch go out, and we make swift negotiations with Twente and Fer.

We will be bringing you the interview over the next few days as he discusses:

http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/2013/06/11/martinez-exclusive-coming-soon?

His plans for new signings and how he hopes to act fast;
Why he feels it’s the perfect time for Phil Jagielka to take over as captain;
Why he hopes to begin contract talks with Leighton Baines;
His disappointment at losing David Weir;
The excitement he feels for his first game at Goodison;
Why he’s excited about Everton’s youth academy;
How winning the FA Cup has caused him to develop ‘an addictive feeling’ for winning silverware;
His philosophy and the importance of developing a ‘unique Everton style’.
For the first part of the interview, check out evertontv on Wednesday.

Another rag suggesting that Martinez is also interested in David Albeda who's aged 35. Where is this carrying on Moyes regime ?

Haha, if only we had signed him a decade ago, he was a brilliant player under Cuper and Benitez, playing alongside Baraja and Aimar, Mista and Angulo. I can't see this one being a goer anymore than the suggestion that we are going to sign a Wigan Select Six A Side team.
