With Villa signing 2 wingers in the past week, i wonder if N'Zogbia will be available and at a reduced price, say, 5-6 million?. Had a bad time of it at Villa and Martinez did get the best out of him at Wigan, wonder if Martinez fancies turning his fortunes around at us?!.

Nothing legit or anything that ive heard, just putting it out there thats all.

Our shirt deal is one of the lowest in the league and about a fifth what sunderland is for one.

Look at this summary.

We make 11 million commercially compared to villa's 14 million, Norwich's 14 million, Newcastle's 14 million, Arsenal's 34 million and Liverpool's 64 million.

Interesting figures. Six of the clubs in that list are no longer in the Prem.,and Villa, for example, surely make more than Everton out of corporate boxes, etc? Interesting also that despite the continual bitching on here, our debt compares very favourably with most of the league. Didn't we renegotiate with Chang quite recently.? It was Wyness who contracted out kit sales initially, and did the Sodexo deal...the latter is still a good deal, and the Kit Bag deal at least guarantees money to the club...previously our kit sales were run at a loss...Evertonians don't seem to buy that much gear...understandable in a depressed area. I think we're pretty stable financially...growth is the problem, and that means a developed GP or a new ground, projects that need to be of no risk to the club.

Can anyone sum up recent events?

The euro zone economy is in a recession. Eurostat data confirmed initial estimates that GDP declined 0.2% in the three months to March, following a 0.6% drop previously. Consumption grew only 0.1% while investment dropped 1.6%, exports 0.8%, imports 1.1%, and government spending 0.1%. The May euro zone manufacturing PMI was 48.3, pointing to additional contraction in the current quarter. The highest manufacturing PMI was 49.4 for Germany, followed by the Netherlands whose PMI was 48.7.

Norwich making more than us is sickening. The rest is pretty bad (especially Villa and Newcastle) and the sheer magnitude of Liverpool's advantage is annoying. We need to be better run financially.

how in the world should his price tag be about 5-6m atm? he's probably worth 3 max based on his villa spell

If we sell Fellaini to Arsenal, I reckon I will be more pissed off with that than when we sold any other player bar Rooney.

We were a few points behind Arsenal, they are not that much better than us. To sell him to a team who we have gradually caught up with over the years to make them stronger would be so annoying.

He needs to go abroad.
