Give over Steve, it has been and remains unofficial club policy to do most dealings around the transfer deadlines. Not expecting anything significant to happen until late August.
More Prem clubs have more debt than Everton than don't. Our manager doesn't start his job until July 1st. Signings at Citeh and United have not been done by the manager...in fact the managers at those clubs will not have as much say as Martinez will have with regard to signings.Pellegrini is more of a coach, the new man at Man Utd. will at least initially be a puppet. Martinez is the only complete manager of the three. July 1st...it will start to happen, but there will be plenty going on now, behind the scenes.
We had the chance to sign him and we pulled out when it was pretty much done, will be interesting to see if Martinez takes the chance.
Disagree
RM will need to meet the squad, see them play, talk to the coaches (perhaps even DM), discuss the budget and THEN look for suitable players.
He will have been scouting for Wigan not Everton so the same players will not fit the bill.
I for one am glad he is taking his time and not rushing into buying the first man he sees who can kick a ball.
Not necessarily!. Do you not think he studied us enough over the 3 times we played Wigan last year, and years before that, and knew are strengths and weaknesses?.
He may well access are squad but i think he'll already have an idea of what he thinks he needs and wants in our side to possibly improve us come next season.
Would love to sign him up, just the sort of striker we need, big and powerful yet still good with his feet and quick.
He's very Yakubu isn't he?
How true is that though, cos i dont believe that for one second. I know we bid for Negredo in Jan, but Bony?!. We clearly wanted a striker but pulled out of a deal for Bony, who is very good btw and was apparently available at 8-9 million?!. Doesnt sound right to me!.

People comparing Lovren to Alcaraz, i'm assuming you've watched both plenty.
Which would you rather have?!?!
