That would be an excellent price, cant see him being so cheap.

I feel a bit let down by you here mate.

Lovren is a Champions League defender. He's great. If a little mental.

Anyway. I hope he fails miserably at Saints.

To be fair we have 2 young defenders to bring through ourselves plus I would rather spend the money on a goal scorer.
 

Lovren is a very good defender to be fair, if he can adapt to the pace of the premier league is another thing. But i think he will.

Obviously Lovren is the better of the two but based on the fact he would probably be costing a big part of our budget, Id rather have Alcaraz and spend money on areas that need improving more than CB

i'd prefer us not to be spending £8m on a centre back we don't need though. we can cope with a free replacement for heitinga

martinez studied our team and tactics and how to play against us. He didn't watch videos of us and look at weak positions and then go travelling around the world scouting for players that would help improve us!

he's not been here long, people need to chill ffs. Everyone on here is moaning at him looking at alcarez because it's a player he knows about; yet you're all moaning because he hasn't already decided for certain 3/4 players that will definitely improve us and bought them already!

also i thought lovren was going for free with the way everyone was gutted about him going to saints. He's going for £7m ffs, what would be the point in us spending what would probably be the majority of our budget on a centre back when it's one of our stronger areas? he may not even start for us, why people get so angry?

Where is the proof we where on for bony? Am awear sheedy said we were in for a Dutch player then everyone started banging on about bony but as far as I knew he or anyone else believable never confirmed it.

So can someone show me the proof please?

Granted ... but you think he'd have come to us with some strategy, a plan .. given Bill's rep I'd have insisted on a few conditions before taking the job, most notably having the funds available to bring in some players, a number ref: those funds .. and also players who I'd want to keep. Only then would I sign and then make big promises to the fans about improved results, Champions League footie etc .. unless I had no ****in idea what I was doing and knew I had bitten off more than I can chew.
