I agree mate and think Martinez would like to just add to what weve already got, i really do, but if someone triggers Fellaini's release clause who are in the CL, i think he'll be a gonner regardless!.

I think Martinez will be lucky to have £10m before sales, i really do, i doubt he'll have more, so it'll be upto him to wheel and deal and find some quality bargains.

I hope he does go out and buy player to add to what weve already got and see how we get on, but IF Felli goes then he'll have more money to work with and will replace him and fill out the squad which is needed!.

agree with comments about what is needed, but Liverpool tried a few times to get a Coutinho themselves and got it wrong, so we really are in the dark as to whether we can get someone that quality in or how much it will cost. I assumed that someone like Gibson was going to cost minimum 5 mill and maybe more. the biggest issue is would we have got him or Mirallas in for the money we did if clubs knew that we had 20 mill burning a hole. there is the third and easily the most agreeable option for most blues and I would think the manager is to treat what we have on the pitch as assets that we can call in at any point, and spend with the knowledge it is there when needed. will we? doubt it. but think that's what most supporters should be pushing for in my opinion

think that's the key with him... tell him he has a run of games whatever happens and see what he can do

The lid is still only 19, I think thats the thing most people tend to forget, he still has a LOT to learn.

Lets face facts Fellaini has played his last game in an Everton shirt. He's got 2 years left & unless he signs a new deal ( which lets be right, isn't going to happen) then he's simply got to be sold this summer as his value will plummet in the next 12 months & the club can't & won't allow that to happen. I just hope it happens early in the window & the fact there's a release clause will probably aid that, as there's nothing for the buying club to haggle over

I get your point, but we got lucky with Gibson and Mirallas IMO. Gibbo had either 6 months or a year left on his deal and wasnt wanted by United so we got him for £500k plus performance related add ons. Mirallas had a £5m plus release clause in his deal so thats why we picked those 2 up cheap!.

If we could find others like that then great!.

I read that the release clause has a time limit on it, like I think Demba Ba had? Might not have been him now I think.

But basically, I think its say for arguements sake, 24m to a CL Club, before the end of July, just what I read, doesnt mean its correct.

And who says he wont sign a new contract? For all his Dad opening his trap he strikes me as a good lid Felli, he really didnt need to sign the last contract, he could be sitting on 200k somewhere by now if he wanted to be a rat.

Under Moyes I'd have been ok with selling Fellaini, but under Martinez I'm not so sure.

You know more than me obviously, but isn't Chadli more of an AM whereas Tadic is more of a winger? That's what I thought anyway.

Can both play as a winger or an acm. Imo Tadic has the better playmaking skills, so put him in that role. Tbf Mirallas, Chadli and Mirallas could change roles all the time. Certainly the potential to give our opponents a headache.
