I don't know the lower league players I only give an opinion on players I've watched. I've seen Redmond, the lad is pacy, tricky and has potential, Sinclair is uber gash. I watched Leroy Fer a few times since his failed move and he does look a player.

What games did them 3 players stick out to you?

Direct, Pacy, Confident. Defensive frailties of course - but dont all natural 'wingers'? Sexy Kev has hardly provided sufficient cover for Seamus this year.

Redmond is a low risk signing at 2 million, he is young and has some potential.

Even if he is not a major success we could make that money back. Unfortunately, we are a selling club. We need to buy players with potential and hopefully sell them on for profit.

I base my opinion on watching him a lot, especially when he was at Swansea, he is uber gash.

You can form your opinion from stats if you want lad.

I bet this Redmond doesn't have skills like Mirallas. Pace yeah that's it (there were far too many players with "potential" in the past who has disappeared after a few years of hype).

Every time I watched Fer he impressed me. He is strong and have great ability in breaking up opposition' plays in the middle of the park. Bony's scoring record speaks for himself. And even Mirallas is impressed by Chadli snd urged our club to sign him and Mertens, I don't have to speak much.

Mirallas is hardly going to say, yeh my team mate isnt the best, avoid him.

Its like asking Michael Owen is Emile Heskey any good, what I take from that is you havent actually seen the players play much if at all.

Mate, if 15-20 million player flopped then we would be absolutely f*cked. Obviously we would all love a player of that caliber, but we don't have the money to risk. I would rather try to get 3 players similar to Mirallas' transfer than get someone like Negredo who has the possibility of flopping (Of course it would be ideal to get someone like Negredo right now and don't get me wrong i would love it to happen but it looks unlikely.). Instead we get a player if he flops, okay we haven't lost mass amounts of money, he does a Mirallas and we make a profit no matter what happens.
