....still no news then. I reckon when it happens it'll be nobody already mentioned here so don't be so precious about different opinions, just wait to get on You-Tube.

Hes definitely not uber gash

82 appearances for Swansea, 28 Goals is a credible feat

Just because he made the worst of all decisions in eroding on the bench at City for 4 years does not make him 'uber gash'.

Direct, Pacy, Confident. Defensive frailties of course - but dont all natural 'wingers'? Sexy Kev has hardly provided sufficient cover for Seamus this year.

For under £5 Million hes worth a go in my opinion matey

Only 9 of those Swansea goals were in the PL, the rest were in the Championship where he has fared well. He's never been able to dribble through 11 defenders in the PL however.

The guy's been at 10 clubs before his 25th birthday, has to be near a record.

Mate, if 15-20 million player flopped then we would be absolutely f*cked. Obviously we would all love a player of that caliber, but we don't have the money to risk. I would rather try to get 3 players similar to Mirallas' transfer than get someone like Negredo who has the possibility of flopping (Of course it would be ideal to get someone like Negredo right now and don't get me wrong i would love it to happen but it looks unlikely.). Instead we get a player if he flops, okay we haven't lost mass amounts of money, he does a Mirallas and we make a profit no matter what happens.

The same scaredy cat argument could have been made when we signed Fellaini, except Fellaini was far less proven than Negredo.

We need more Fellaini's and less Steven Naismith's.

Wigan shop at Home and Bargain, Chelsea shop at Harrods, and Everton FC shop at Marks and Spencer's!

....you asked me this a while ago I think. Its due to threads being a continuous dialogue but I'm more than content to start with capital letters etc if it annoys anybody.

No keep it, easier to understand who is who when skimming through the threads.

I bet this Redmond doesn't have skills like Mirallas. Pace yeah that's it (there were far too many players with "potential" in the past who has disappeared after a few years of hype).

Every time I watched Fer he impressed me. He is strong and have great ability in breaking up opposition' plays in the middle of the park. Bony's scoring record speaks for himself. And even Mirallas is impressed by Chadli snd urged our club to sign him and Mertens, I don't have to speak much.

I'd rather have Redmond than Mertens

Sinclair is not uber gash! Well his record for Swansea is pretty good tbh. Not saying he's world class but at 5M he's a snip IMO. Flog Naismith for 2/3M and we'v done a great bit of business for a couple of million.

Alcaraz, I'm starting to think may not be in RM thoughts. As said surely he could/would of had that tied up by now. Having said that nobody else has either so.....

Not too concerned no business done yet, new manager at a new club, has his own targets aswell as the club already having targets, lots to look at I would think.

Plus the fact, I'm pretty sure what happens with Fellaini will have a big impact on what happens this summer. Maybe our main/bigger business will be hinging on this happening.

Again have you watched Sinclair, I watched him at Swansea quite a bit, I don't judge a player on stats.

To be fair, from what I seen on him at Swansea (the year they got promoted and his first season in PL) he was very good. Always pacey and creating chances but couldn't finish his dinner. Missed some amount of sitters.

Saying that, I still don't think we should buy him. He's not good enough for the level we want/see ourselves at.
