As for Heitinga, he's slow, can't jump, can't mark, he's rubbish and needs to move on.
He had a good half season on top form bit like jelavic not good enough to maintain it.

Will Martinez give the fringe players a chance to shine? . Duffy could easily step in for Heitinga, Barkley warrants a run and Veliios and Oviedo should be given a chance to impress.
Jelavic's confidence was shot. He seemed to be trying to hard and needs something to get his confidence flowing. Maybe Martinez's different style of management may achieve this.

Jelavic needs some inspiration from somewhere. Yes, I think Oviedo and the other fringe players are going to be well served by Martinez and I expect them to see game time in pre-season games. Surely though the slow-witted Naismith will soon be on his way? I know he's a whipping boy, but can you imagine a manager that likes the ball worked from back to front quickly and on the deck placing his trust in someone who takes an age to get the ball released?
DO NOT WANT. "Searing pace"? He's mobile like, but I think that's a bit much. He'd do very little in the PL. Plus he's 27 now, so if we keep him for more than one season we're pretty much guaranteed to make no money when we sell him.

Not sure if mentioned already but I read something about us having a sell on clause that will reduce the purchase price to us, @ 5-6 mill would be a good buy.
