Was just thinking then, have 3 or 4 players from the french leagues come out and said we would appeal to them all in only one day? Are we raiding the french league or something ahaha.

LOLOLOLOLOL.

Bit racist that mate. No place for that here, to be honest.

It isn't pushing the boat out at all, it's weakening our squad through replacing superior players with inferior players. Kenwright has done a great job in conditioning many Evertonians into making his excuses for him. Our revenue is going to increase by a MINIMUM of 20 million in the next year.

And not necessarily!. When we sold Lescott Moyesy replaced him with Distin who's been a great player for us and gets better with age!. Dont get me wrong, the other 2 signings werent much kop. Heitinga as been hit & miss and Bily unfortunately didnt cut it.

But with Felli, there is plenty of good CM out there that we could replace him with, the likes of Fer, Capoue, Defour, Imbula, Illarramendi, Benat, Ander Herrera, Romulo, Victor Sanchez, Wakaso Mubarek, Vincente Iborra, Pape Diop, Ignacio Camacho, Benega, Topal, Wanyama, Strootman, Xhaka, Sebastien Rode, Matthias Ginter, Veloso, Nainggolan, Kucka, Kacar, Onazi, Inler, Bacinovic, Obiang, Elm, Zapater, M'Vila, Praet, Biglia, Mbodj, Vainqueur, and thats just to name a few.

Right, so dont you think any of that will go towards paying off debts then, and be put in the transfer pot?. Get with it lad, course it will go to debts most of it!. No way will any new revenue coming in go solely on transfers!. When we sell it will, but none of the new TV money will go solely on transfers, it will go to balancing out loses and to help pay debts each year, and a bit of it will go to Martinez.

I think it is you who needs to get with it.

The only people who will benefit from paying off an easily maintainable and relatively small debt before it needs to be paid are the people who are looking to increase their return on their investment, which will only be realised if there is someone waiting in the wings to invest 100m+ on buying a controlling share in Everton before then having to invest (or lend) to his own business.

The debt is small and easily maintained, it doesn't need to be paid back any earlier than has already been agreed. I'll be absolutely astounded if we see a decrease in our debt, in fact I'm willing to bet you that our debt will actually increase as it has done with every other large increase in revenue following a TV deal.

This all besides the point anyway, only a Kenwright era Everton fan could possibly describe selling our best player for 24million pounds and replacing him with an inferior player costing 11million pounds as 'pushing the boat out'.

I'm certainly not arguing that Fellaini is irreplaceable, nor do I deny that bargains can be had, although they are harder to identify which is why better players typically come at a premium.

But there's no way that I'm going to agree that selling your best player and replacing him with someone costing half as much in any way constitutes 'pushing the boat out'. Its the absolute minimum anyone should be expecting, the absolute minimum.

the TV cash should be for transfers if the club wants to reduce the debt they should do it by increasing the clubs revenue of the field such as bigger sponsership/kit deals which they seem to be really poor at.

as for felli's replacement- Strootman is the man, a tough tackling box to box midfield player often likenened to Roy Keane nearly 20 caps for Netherlands and only 23, would get him for about £15 mil which would leave us with 6 mil or so to bring in another CM player like Fer or someone
