The journalists read this site for their transfer news. If you make up a new one, chances are it'll get published. Don't read too much into it.
 
Is this as active as the potential managers thread?

It's still early days in the transfer window, as long as we have what we need by the 21st July will be fine. As long as its not Kone or any other tripe. It's hard being Everton and trying to break the top 4, it will take hard work and some luck on the pitch. The players we have been linked with do not excite me or fill me with confidence. We don't need a spree, we need a talented forward, a promising centre half, a young goalkeeper with experience and I think there's no urgency on the middle but that depends on Fellaini.

Next season will see emerges from Barkley, Stones, Oviedo,Lundstram and Long. Give the youth a chance like Ferguson did.

We don't need to go wild in the transfer shop.

Surely Martinez realizes that Kone is a step backwards for the club, along with McGeady they aren't exactly improving the 1st XI
