I'm starting to get nervous now. The baines and Fellaini leaving rumours are a lot stronger this year than before. If they were to go and not be replaced with the right players then we could very soon be a bottom half club.
Nothing to do with not having faith in Martinez. But every Premierleague club is shopping in the middle/higher classe market and we again are left sniffing through the left overs in the bargain basement sale. Extremely annoying

No definately not alone, and the rumours so far have not filled me with confidence. However in general his signings at Wigan were good given who he was managing.
My worry is he is not fully appreciating the jump in standard from where Wigan are to where we are and where we want go. Plus the fact that every penny of transfer money spent is precious and needs to improve the team hopefully long term and with some sell on value.
Tbh it's the McGeady one I have a major problem with. If we were taking a risk on him for free then fair enough but 4/5M is such a waste IMO. Redmond 2M, Donovan free, Sinclair 4/5M plus I'm sure other talents in that world wide market...So many better ways to spend our money than McGeady.

As worrying as it is the possibility of loosing both baines and Fellaini, If the cash windfall is spent correctly we could come out the other end a lot stronger team/squad!
Baines is irreplacable as a player but replaceable in a team with cash to strengthen other areas....if you get what I mean? Bring in a solid attacking left back who the team isn't over reliant on and focus on other areas of the pitch to provide the sparks.
