Be as pedantic as you want, but you and everyone else on here knew exactly what i meant.

The point still stands that Liverpool fans aren't going to complain about the Toure transfer because they've already signed 3 players for decent money and they're not paying a transfer fee for him.

Or possibly because hes a higher profile name than Alcaraz.

Ive got no problem with Alcaraz for what he is like, but im pretty sure if we were bringing Toure in on a free there would be a lot less complaining

I really don't want Alcaraz or anyone else who has ever played centre half for Wigan.

Was mainly injured through last year, not having him is why they went down. He's a decent player, not judge him becuase he had to play with Caldwell when he was fit.

Sinclair on loan is a viable option in my opinion. Heitinga sale will fund kone arrival so there should be a little wedge left in the kitty. Sinclair on loan will maybe free up a centre mid purchase to cover Gibson when he is out injured..

If we get kone/alcaraz/sinclair i will be extremely worried about our manager and hes not even been in the job for a week.

Hope he isn't assured of a place in the starting XI, but def like the idea of him over Osman on the wing, or Naismith, or Anichebe...

However, he must surely be on 60k odd a week at City with their silly wages. I do hope we're only covering the half if we are signing him.

If we're going to play 3 up front we need 2 wide men with pace. Mirallas is a perfect fit for one side and we need another for the other side. Moses would be the 1st choice but if we aren't going to sell Baines / Fellaini then Sinclair could be ok. I see him as being similar in quality to Ince and he's rated at £8m

Wouldn't complain if we agreed a fee to buy him at the end of the loan, but it's likely to have been completely made up coming from that source.

Mignolet would be a definite improvement on Howard.

I would also hazard a guess that:
Alberto would be an improvement on Naismith.
Aspas would be an improvement on Vellios(probably).

Alcaraz is an improvement on Heitinga
Kone is a huge improvement on Anichebe
