I trust Martinez's opinion of football players because he's paid a lot of money to run a football club and in the grand scheme of things I and the rest of us haven't got a f*cking clue.

People who suggest Bony, how much did he cost Swansea? We would never of been able to afford the fee. The only way that would happen if we were to sell one of our more valuable players, and I don't think that would make us a stronger team.

I am happy with the signings so far, and if we keep Baines and Fellaini, it could be seen as a good summer.

Give the new lads a chance first.

As a few posters have said the signings from Wigan were sensible and makes our squad so much stronger already, even Distin said the team now feels like a normal squad.

agree with this completely. Like everyone above has said the new signings are only being judged on the fact they came from Wigan which is ridiculous.

They actually come from Ivory Coast, Paraguay and Spain. Nobody ever said Tim Cahill came from Millwall...he came from Australia.

Glad we never bought Bony. Stay away from the Eredivisie, unless it's a Belgian we're talking about. Then it might be considerable.

Brennerz that team fighted relegation many years with limited resources and won FA Cup. Why have peeps such a childish attitude towards players from Wigz?

Dunno mate. QPR also got relegated and i'd happily have taken Cesar and Remy (before his rape charge).

This idea that players aren't good enough because they played for a relegated side is the most basic criticism you can make and isn't even true. If Villa had gone down i guess Benteke would have been pyar gash.

Is right lad.

One player from a relegated team is fine. Four players and their manager and coaching staff, well that for me would set alarm bells ringing.
