Ahhhhh. When I said second striker, I meant signing another one. Like having 2.

I agree we need backup, no doubt. If Vellios had a work ethic, he would be a great shout. Needs to mature a bit on the field and we could have a decent one already on our books.

You seen much of this Rodriguez fellow?

Why do ppl think its unrealistic to get 20 + million for Baines, dont you remember how hard we dug are heels in over Lescott?. The similarities of the players are very similar, except Baines aint pushing for a move and i dont think he would and Baines as been more consistent for longer than what Lescott had before leaving.

I know City had money to throw away but Lescott had only had 2, possibly 3 good seasons with us and we dug in there and got £24m for him. Baines as been **** hot for 4 or 5 seasons now and is the full package, can defend and is a threat going forward with assists, goals and good from set playes, and he's at the peak of his powers at 27, with 3 years to run on his deal, so why shouldnt we hold out for more than £20m for him?!.

Kenwrights a prick but there's one good thing about him, he'll push for a good deal for us.
 
Btw i dont want us to sell him cos even if we did we wouldnt be able to replace him like for like but if it came to it we should hold out for as much as poss cos IMO he's worth £20m or more in this day and age easily!.

( serious post ) something is seriously wrong we have Bill Kenwright as chairman, and yes we are loaned out to the max, and no we haven't got 4 million to just pay out for Pienaar, that's why people protest

FFS as I repeat the same Cissokho who failed his medical at Milan.

I saw Carlos Cueller has been released by Villa. He's 30 but could be a good squad addition as competition with Hibbert for RB and also plays at CB. To be honest I don't know a whole load about him other than he cost a tidy sum when villa bought him..
