It's not that big a deal.

6 times the number of people watched Chelsea Vs City yesterday than watched the 2014 Superbowl, and that was just a mid-season league game.

A good mate has tried to convince me for years that it's a brilliant tactical game, based on supreme fitness and tactical finesse. Sorry the whole thing is just plain boring and over the top . From the " Hi I,m Ed Winchester " type presenters, the page 3 cheer leaders, the non stop commercials to the fact that it lasts about 3 f****** days from start to finish.
The fact that it's only massively popular in America speaks volumes about it as a sport and about America too.

And as for people in this country who hold Super Bowl parties FFS.

Imagine being british and forcing yourself to like this utter utter crap sport just because you like the image. People who pretend to love a certain team and hate others are the pits. Unless you've been brought up in it, or have family involved or whatever your feelings are absolute jarg.
