£1m according to BBC.

well fcuk that Rangers are getting Ian Black for that money, are we that skint that we are giving our players away
should get 3 or 2 million at least for Cahill, there are championship players that are as old as Timmy going for that money:@

Really don't see the point in selling him for 1 million, if that figure is true. May save a bit on wages as well, but any replacement will cost more than that. And while I don't think he's a first choice player at this time, he's still a valuable member of the squad.

Depends on where he wants to go.

I would much rather get £1m for him and save his wage packet than have him here next season honestly, he's past it.

The replacement will be one of Barkley and Naismith who we're already paying.

Sad and glad to see him go, is that a bad thing? I know he has become detrimental to the side when he plays and i'm glad it means other players will get a chance, but all he has done, and he still loves the club makes me sad, it's bitter and sweet this, thanks Tim for the memories, good luck in the MLS.

The 1M may be because he has told Moyesy that if he isn't going to be a regular starter he would like to move on, and Moyes has not bothered negotiating out of respect for his wishes.

It's a difficult thing to say but it's true. He shouldn't be starting for us, anymore and as long as he's here he gets starts so, as much as I love him, I'd rather he'd not be here if it means Moyes will start with Osman/Naismith/Barkley etc there instead.
